December 21st 2012 is the final day of the ancient Mayan calendar. Some people that this means humanity will be wiped out one way or another – be it by nuclear war, a giant meteorite or bird flu.

Others see 2012 as the year the New World Order finally achieves its goal of a crypto-fascist one world government.

Personally I’m more worried by the thought of Sarah Palin becoming president of the USA.

If like me you’re a geek of a certain age then you probably spent many hours on text adventure games. In particular Colossal Cave, one of the first to be widely available. I wasted many nights at Uni trying to get through the game.

This is another example of my weird sense of humour and love of the cognitive dissonance.

It’s a simple idea: the words on the shirt say “Inside out”… backwards. So it looks like it’s inside out. If you took it off and put it on inside out then the words would be the right way round… but on the inside. So it would be inside out outside in.

Don’t think about it too much, it’s starting to make my head hurt.

The title really says it all here – although I think we all know the answer!

This design is a modification of the famous soliloquy from William Shakespeare’s Hamlet. Only a few words have been changed but it’s enough to make this an ideal shirt for a party.

The scanning of the last lines gave me a little trouble but I think the result works. The original was “And by opposing end them”. My version is “And by boozing forget them”, which works if you pronounce it “And by boozing forget them”.

Although by the end of the party most people will be lucky if they can manage “by booshing fur get forget what? Yourmy beshtmate youare”
