I’m a lifelong fan of Doctor Who and have watched it since the days of William Hartnell. One of the reasons I like the show is that it works on so many different levels: it has good stories, interesting ideas and some very funny lines. It also has a philosophy very much in accordance of my own, that intelligence is a better way of solving problems than violence.

In my lifetime recycling has gone from being a weird fringe activity to pretty much the social norm. This, of course, is a result of an increased awareness of environmental issues and threats such as global warming. We all want to do our bit to go green and save the planet.
