Of course it could well have been the booze and fags that killed him, but them’s the breaks.

This is another in my “inverted art” series. This time it’s Leonardo’s da Vinci’s world famous Mona Lisa that’s had the digital inversion treatment.

Leonardo’s original Mona Lisa is famous for her smile which is usually described as “enigmatic”. In the inverted version it’s not so much enigmatic as… well, positively scary. Especially when combined with those glowing eyes.

I wonder what this tee would look like in a dark room under fluorescent light? If you try it out, please let me know!

Van Gogh’s “Starry Night” has long been a favourite of mine. On a whim I pulled it into a photo editor and inverted it.

The result was a pleasant surprise – I think it looks almost as good as the original. So I put it up for sale at Zazzle.

Personally I like it best on the black background, but it also works well on white. I’m not sure about other colours.

I like to think that Vincent would have approved.
